Megapixels are not everything
That would be significantly larger than the current 1/1.3-inch sensor in the Galaxy S25 Ultra and only slightly smaller than the one-inch sensors, which are installed in some competing Android flagships. The larger sensor would capture more light, which should improve image quality compared to the current 200 MP sensors.
According to the leak, the new sensor therefore promises a previously unmatched performance.
