Samsung is rolling out updates for its Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+. The update will bring the April 2021 Android security patch, several new features, and some improvements. The update comes with the firmware version T97xxXXU2BUD2.
The two tabs would be getting three new studio-like effects in the Portrait camera mode – the new High-Key Mono, Low-Key Mono, and Backdrop effects, which will let you change the background for portrait shots. This feature recently debuted on the Galaxy A52 as well.
In addition to the above, the two tabs would also get the same effects in the Single Take camera mode. Samsung is also sending two video filters – Highlight videos and Filtered videos – in Single Take. The front-facing camera on these devices would now be able to start recording videos through the palm gesture.
Then there is an update that includes S Pen pressure sensitivity recognition when using the tablet as a secondary monitor. The company also ensures improved usability of external input devices like a keyboard. The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ will also support screen recording in DeX mode, and they would also get support for custom background effects during video calls.
According to the source, this update is currently rolling out in a number of European and Asian countries.
