Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active 2, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Watch 4 Getting a New Update from Samsung
Samsung is rolling out new updates to a series of Galaxy Watch and some other devices.
Samsung is currently rolling out new updates to a series of Galaxy smartwatches – the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active 2, and Galaxy Watch 3. The attention-seeking feature of this update is all related to health and personalization.
The most interesting feature of this update is the fall-detection feature. For those like me, the fall detection feature measures how hard the fall was and may send a message to a favorite contact or call emergency services if the user didn’t respond within the preset time. This feature is available for the Galaxy Watch 2 and Galaxy Watch 3. This new feature allows users to “increase the sensitivity for fall detection.”
Another feature that comes with this update is, a challenge to friends or family, “battling it out to see who can go the furthest or the fastest, either working as a team or competing against each other individually.” We are uncertain if this update is for all or not.
Samsung is also adding nearly 10 new watch faces for the Galaxy Watch 4. It’s the first time, according to a report, that the Watch 4 is getting such a feature.
The company has also announced some updates for the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra. The key feature of this update is that these devices will get the One UI 4. the One UI 4 is expected to offer a much better and free of bugs experience. This update starts today in some parts of the world. We don’t have the changelog for its update, but will share it soon we get a hold of it.
