Garmin Fenix 8, Fenix E & Enduro 3 Leak: Smartwatches to be seen in advance
As usual, Garmin will be presenting a whole range of new smartwatches at the beginning of September this year – just in time for IFA 2024. We now have the first pictures of the new Garmin Fenix 8 (Solar), Garmin Enduro 3 and the completely new Garmin Fenix E. Garmin
Garmin introduces AMOLED panels on the Fenix 8 series
First of all: we don’t have any technical data yet. What we do know is that the Garmin Fenix 8 (Solar) will be available in sizes of 47 and 51 millimeters, while the Garmin Fenix E will only be available in a single size of 47 millimeters. The Garmin Enduro 3, on the other hand, will probably only be available with a 51 millimeter wide case.
It seems that Garmin intends to introduce a very wide range, with the features and prices likely to return to the usual level. In the case of the Garmin Fenix 8 in the 47 and 51 millimeter versions, AMOLED displays are now used, so Garmin now seems to be saying goodbye to the LCDs previously used in the normal edition of the Fenix 8 series.
Presumably – and this is really just a guess – the new Garmin Fenix E is a slightly cheaper range of smartwatches from the US manufacturer that will now be coming onto the market, which will inherit the LCD panels, so to speak, and will be positioned below the new Fenix 8 series.
