Generative AI Features Are Coming to Google Chrome for Mac
Slowly and gradually, generative AI is taking over different aspects of the tech industry. Since last year, several companies have adopted and implemented AI into their products and services. The tech giant Google announced yesterday that soon it will add generative AI features to Chrome for Mac. Reportedly, the new features will arrive on the Mac with Chrome (M121). According to the details, the AI features will help users organize tabs, create themes, and draft content.
With the help of Tab Organizer, users will be able to create groups of open tabs based on suggestions. This option will be accessible from the Organize Similar Tabs option. Simply right-click on a tab and select it. The custom themes, on the other hand, can be created with the help of a text-to-image diffusion model. They can be customized based on color, mood, visual style, and subject. Under the Customize Chrome side panel, you will see the “Create with AI” theme option.
When it comes to drafting or generating content on the web, the latest version of Chrome for Macs will help users generate it. Users can access the “Help me write” option by right-clicking in any text box or field. Chrome users in the US will receive the Tab Organizer and Theme Creator features in the coming days. However, the writing assistant will arrive next month with a fresh update. Users can activate these experimental features in Chrome by heading to settings and navigating to the Experimental AI page.
