Google Android Pay: Is Now Available In Belgium Starting From Today

Belgians can now pay at more than 85000 retail locations with their Android Phone, thumbs up for Android Pay.

Pali Bhat Global Head Of Payment Products at Google has announced in a blog post that they have officially launched Android Pay in Belgium.

Sounds good? Yes you can now shop at your favorite retailers including; McDonalds, H&M, Media Markt, Carrefour and many more with your Android Phone.

 

How Does Android Pay Works?

It’s the most simplest form of payment ever, you just need to take out your Android Phone and hold it near the Payment terminal as shown in the image below; Sorted !!!!

You don’t even need to unlock your phone and open up the app, it’s that simple and easy

Once you complete your checkout, you will get a summary of your recent transactions on your phone.

Another Nugget

When you shop through your favorite apps like Deliveroo, Transferwise or Hotel Tonight, you do not even have to complete the form by entering your details. You will have to locate the Android Pay button in the app payment window that’s it.

Let’s Get Started

Go to Google Play Store and download Android Pay app, after that add your credit card Master/visa card from BNP Paribas Fortis, Fintro and Hello Bank. Currently, the app would not allow debit cards but they will be coming soon.

Android Pay requires NFC for in-store purchases, if you are running KitKat 4.4 or higher on your phone you can Download Android Pay from play store and start using it.
