Google Foldable Phone Development on the cards

The new development in the smartphone market is the development of foldable phones. Many different smartphone brands are planning the launch of foldable phones including big names like Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, and LG. In this article, we will tell our readers that Google is also reportedly working on a foldable smartphone. So a Google Foldable phone is on the cards. It will be a Google Pixel branded foldable phone.

Different patents have been filed by different companies for foldable phones. Some companies are planning to fold the phone from the middle while some are looking do it on the outer edge.

About Google ‘s Foldable phone, as of yet not much info has been revealed but work is being done on it. It won’t be released in 2019. The launch date will be either 2020 or 2021.

Google also partnered with Samsung at Developer Conference to display the foldable phone of Samsung. Google did run a custom version of Android Pie for a foldable form phone.

A Russian leaker also revealed that Google is working on more than one Pixel phones for 2019 that includes a tablet-smartphone hybrid variant.

A company in China called FlexPai has already launched the first foldable tablet/smartphone hybrid.
