Google Is Soon Ditching The Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5
Google is soon ditching the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5.
Google just announced the Pixel 5a, the device will go on sale from August 26th. The company is also working to release the Pixel 6 series this year. With the new devices coming in, the company is ditching several old Pixel smartphones for good.
According to a Google spokesperson, the company will stop making more units of Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. The company would sell these units until in stock. According to one source, the duo is out of stock in the US.
With our current forecasts, we expect Google Store in the U.S. to sell out of Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 in the coming weeks following the launch of the Pixel 5a (5G). The Pixel 5a (5G) is a great option for customers and delivers valuable hardware upgrades compared to the Pixel 4a (5G), all at a lower price point

The same rule applies elsewhere – once out of stock, Google will not make new units of the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5.
Google Pixel fans need not worry, the company is not running out of the smartphone business, it just doing what works best for the company and fans.
