Google Might Bring its First Foldable Pixel Phone with Samsung’s Ultra-thin Glass

Samsung is undoubtedly one of the best companies aiding smart devices and accessories. The company has a wide range of products services that is hard to compete with. One example to support that is Samsung’s line of Samsung SDI that is trying to offer 4680 battery cells to Tesla for its EV and the other could be set by Google, its rival company, which is trying to get a hold on its Ultra-this Glass (UTG).

In a most recent news post by Sam Mobile, we learned that Google could be using Samsung’s Ultra-thin Glass (UTG) in its next line of foldable smartphones. According to the news, Google might use “Samsung Display’s 7.6-inch foldable OLED panel and Ultra-thin Glass protection.”

To cope up with that, Samsung could start producing OLED screens for Google’s foldable smartphones. It’s also pertinent to mention that Google is not the only one to use Samsung’s UTG; we have Honor, OPPO, and Xiaomi in the line already using this protective glass.

Talking about Xiaomi, the company could bring its new folding device with Samsung’s 8-inch display. This smartphone would also use Samsung’s UTG for protection.

However, we heard that Samsung’s next Galaxy Z Flip 3 would not use its own UTG, but Corning’s UTG. Moreover, we also learned that foldable OLE panels are 2 to 3 times more expensive than regular flexible OLED.
