Google One receives a slew of new security features

Just recently, the tech company Google introduced a new batch of security features for Google One. Given this new update, some of the features are all new, while some others are extended across all Google One plans.

The first feature is the VPN by Google One. In the past, this feature was only offered with the 2TB plan. The latest update indicates that the plan is now available for every paid plan. It is available for $1.99 per month. Through this plan, users will have access to 100Gbstorgae space and VPN by Google One. The VPN is excellent since it can hide the IP address. Thus, protecting the information of the user on public and unsecured networks.

Besides this, the company has introduced a dark web report. This report will screen the stolen information. It is a great inclusion. Almost every day we come across information about hacks and leaks. The report has the capacity to examine the dark web for the user’s personal information like name, address, email, phone number, and social security number. As soon as any information is found, users will be notified about it. The company mentioned that the Dark Web monitoring will begin rolling out in the upcoming weeks to users having access to Google One plans in the US.

With the latest updates, it is evident that the company is making Google One services quite appealing for consumers. Besides the storage space, the company is offering several new features. Last week, Google has introduced the Magic eraser feature for Google Photos to Google One users. Where in the past the feature was only available to Pixel users.

Definitely, the subscription would be worth it these days.
