Google Pixel 5a In Plans For This August Launch

Although the release time has changed, Google still plans to launch Pixel 5a this year most probably in August. Citing the latest news from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Pixel 5a will be released in August this year. The tweet wrote: “Google Pixel fans, this summer belongs to you. It is estimated that the company’s next-generation low-cost mobile phone Pixel 5a will be announced and sold in August.“

As early as February this year, the rendering of the phone has been exposed, confirming that it will follow the design of Pixel 4a 5G. Since then, we have learned more about the specifications and features, but there is really not much to be excited about. But then there has been news that Pixel 5a has been completely canceled by Google. Subsequently, Google responded with official comments, not only confirming that Pixel 5a 5G is under development, but will also be available in the United States and Japan.

According to the current known and leaked specifications, the new Google Pixel 5a will carry Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. As far as the camera department is concerned the device will have an ultra-wide-angle camera of 12 megapixels, along with an aperture of f/2.2, as well as 16mm focal length. Pixel 5a will use 6.2-inch OLED FHD+ flat-screen display, and the phone size measures 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm. Moreover, the phone will be equipped with stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a rear fingerprint sensor.
