Google Pixel 5a Speculations: Features, Release Dates, and Price
Google Pixel 5a is soon to release. Here is a quick overview of what we could expect from the phone.
Google Pixel 5a is expected to resemble its predecessors but with additive features. Here, we would highlight the most known features, the smartphone’s expected price and its date of release. So here we go.
Google Pixel 5a is expected to be made out of polycarbonate (plastic), resembling the Pixel 4a series. Not only this, the rear camera setup, the fingerprint scanner, and the display camera hole all appear like the Pixel 4a 5G.
The phone will include thin bezels, while its bottom bezel will be the thickest. A display camera hole is located in the top-left corner, while the phone’s display is flat. The power/lock key sits on the right side, above the volume up and down buttons. Though, the power/lock key is in a different colour. Its rear-facing camera housing seems a little projected, and the company’s logo is visible on the back.
A Type-C port sits at the bottom of the phone, the fingerprint scanner is on the back, the phone’s display has round edges, similar to the device itself.
The phone is expected to come with a 6.2-inch fullHD+ OLED display. And similar to the Pixel 4a 5G, the Google Pixel 5a may measure 153.9 x 74 x 8.2mm, and weighs 168 grams.
As for the audio jack, the Pixel 5a expects to follow the Pixel 4a and 4a 5G, with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Furthermore, the Google Pixel 5a may come with Snapdragon 700-series SoC. The phone is expected to stick to a 60Hz display, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
One of the key features of Google’s Pixel smartphones is its focus on providing excellent camera quality. The company has been using the same main camera sensor for its smartphones since the Pixel 2, and all the phones since then still provide excellent images. However, the company is expected to replace it with the Pixel 6, but not for the Pixel 5a.
According to several leaks, the phone is expected to come on June 11. Of course, it’s still not confirmed by the company. The phone expects a price similar to the Pixel 4a, i.e. around $349, at the phone’s launch.
