Google usually rolls out its software update on the first Monday of every month. However, this month the company got late. The new date, as we heard, is July 7th, i.e., tomorrow.
According to the latest information from the Pixel Update Bulletin, this month, Pixel owners would get their security patch on July 7th. The delay was due to the 4th July holiday that was moved to the next day, i.e., July 5th, Monday.
Previously, we heard of an issue with the Pixel Feature Drop. The issue was addressed in the last month, and it’s unlikely that we get this fixed with the update to come tomorrow. We also heard a rumor, “chances of Google releasing the next Android 12 Beta build look slim.”
On the other hand, Samsung is doing a good job of rolling out new updates for its family. The company has already released the July 2021 security patch to the Galaxy Fold smartphone and others are waiting to get them soon.
