Google released the beta version of YouTube Shorts in the US
YouTube Shorts platform to create quick-shareable-15-seconds short videos. Users can add music, slow down, or speed up the footage, all depends on their creativity.
After the earlier news on YouTube Shorts, today Google has rolled out the beta version of YouTube Shorts in the US.
After TikTok started to witness a submerge, many took the chance to grab the leftover market share. Instagram was one of them to roll out Reels.
And now comes Google’s YouTube Shorts. The app was first introduced in India and now it has reached the US.
But What’s YouTube Shorts?
It’s a platform to create quick-shareable-15-seconds short videos. Users can add music, slow down, or speed up the footage, all depends on their creativity.
Users can share multiple videos with their viewers. As for the beta version, users can add time-based text and sample audio from other Shorts.
There’s a huge library of songs from over 250 labels and publishers across various genres including Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, and Sony Music Entertainment for users to choose their favourite music.
In addition to these features, there are more tools like a dedicated Shorts tab added to the bottom bar of the YouTube app. This means that users can access Shorts right from the Home tab of the YouTube app.
Google is releasing the YouTube Shorts beta slowly so it won’t be available for everyone right away.
