Google releases a stand-alone AI image creator called ImageFX

We are in the midst of the AI wars, with every big firm either establishing their own AI development or utilizing AI in some important capacity. For jobs like AI picture production, we’ve grown to rely on Midjourney and Stable Diffusion to create images from text prompts. However, Google is now improving Bard to include AI picture production and offering its own ImageFX image generating tool.

While Google Bard’s AI image generating skills are certainly noteworthy, the company is now launching ImageFX, a separate AI picture generation tool. You may produce an image by entering a word prompt, much as with other AI image generators. ImageFX distinguishes itself by adding “expressive chips,” which allow you to swiftly explore several versions on your initial concept.

Photos created using ImageFX are labeled with SynthID (a digital watermark placed directly to the pixels of the image) and feature IPTC metadata, which provides extra information about these AI-generated photos.

ImageFX is driven by Imagen 2 (together with Google Bard’s image production capabilities), which is powered by Google DeepMind’s most recent text-to-picture advances via a diffusion-based model. Imagen 2 is also being improved to provide high-quality photos that are devoid of annoying visual artifacts.

Google is also making modifications to MusicFX. MusicFX now has higher-quality audio and quicker music creation owing to enhancements to the MusicLM model. ImageFX and MusicFX are part of Google’s artificial intelligence test kitchen. Users from the United States, Kenya, New Zealand, and Australia can be tried in English.
