Google Stadia Reaches Android TV

The Google Stadia cloud gaming service, which was officially launched in November 2018, has been launched on many platforms. However, Google’s own-led Android TV smart TV platform has not yet ushered in Stadia cloud games. The good news is that Google Stadia has finally officially landed on the Android TV platform in recent days-although the first list of supported devices is not long.

The following is a list of the first Android TV devices that support Google Stadia:

● Chromecast and Google TV

● Hisense U7G, U8G, U9G series Android smart TV

● NVIDIA SHIELD TV

● NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro

● Onn Full HD (FHD)/UHD (UHD) streaming media equipment

● Philips 8215, 8505, and OLED 935/805 series Android TV

● Mi Box (MIBOX) and Mi Box 3 (MIBOX3)

Google pointed out that in addition to the dedicated Stadia gamepad, you can also use other Bluetooth controllers that are directly connected to Android TV to play games. When you are interested, you can go to the Play Store to download the Stadia app portal for Android TV.

However, recently, the Google Stadia service has also encountered some setbacks, especially experienced a sharp decline, inactive users. What we can understand is that cloud gaming is indeed very different from streaming audio and video services, and it relies more on high-quality content resources and faster Internet connections.

Even so, the head of product marketing still said that Google Stadia has good vitality, and they are working hard to take the experience to the next level. I hope that with the start of Android TV platform support, Google Stadia can usher in a good new beginning.
