Google trolls Apple on account of a Drake song

Apple is the only one that can fix the blue and green bubbles problem, so Google has sent you a little message.

Google has sent a message directly to Apple via Twitter. The reason? He wants them to fix something that, as they point out, only Apple can fix the blue and green bubble problem. The official android account on Twitter Has published a 38-second video in which, with Drake’s new theme as a framework, he asks a possible “super-talented team of Apple engineers” to come up with a solution. The controversy of messages between Android mobiles and iPhones has a new chapter. The bubbles are blue and green, depending on whether the device is iPhone or Android.

The RCS protocol is the way

Rapper Drake’s new song, “Texts Go Green”, it has come to him that neither painted Google to return to take out a recurring theme during the last years. It may not sound like much to you if you live outside of the United States, but the blue and green bubbles of the messages app are a topic of debate.

When two iPhones communicate through this app, the message bubbles are blue. However, things change when an Android user joins the conversation. Its green bubbles are a kind of “label” that has caused bullying problems in the North American country. Google made it clear, that it did not seem right at all that iMessage treated its users as if they were less.

Android users not only have different colors, but they also slow down the conversation by having some limitations. Also, green is the color that appears when a user is blocked so in no case does it seem to be linked to something positive. Google asks Apple to adapt to the RCS messaging protocol, which would facilitate communication between both ecosystems, improve security and put an end to the problem of bubbles, iMessage is the most widely used messaging application in the United States, where users (mostly from Apple) do not download applications such as WhatsApp or Telegram.

They use the default app of their devices. Apple knows that many users have been “locked in” in its ecosystem because they do not want to leave iMessage so it does not seem that he is going to give his arm to twist.
