Google’s Assistant ambient mode is coming to Android

After first prodding it in September, Google has point by point precisely how its new Assistant ambient mode will chip away at cell phones. Much like Pixel Stand, there’s both a lock screen that shows the time over a Google Photos slideshow, whenever wanted. Tapping through shows notifications with messages, calls, appointments, weather and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. At the base is a line of symbols for controlling smart lights, empowering “don’t disturb” mode and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

The experience is intended for telephones that don’t have their very own charging screen lock usage, which may clarify why it’s not going to the Pixel and different brands, clearly including Samsung gadgets. Chandrababu said ambient mode would come to “select devices” with Android 8 or more in the coming weeks.
