Government employees will get salaries by 28th of this month—Eid ul Adha

As Eid-ul-Adha approaches next week and the Eid holidays starts from the Friday 31 government plans to start payout for Federal government employees on 28th few days ahead of the Eid holidays.

Ministry of finance has passed on the directive which indicates the disbursement of salaries should be conducted on 28th of August, 2017.

The decision is taken to facilitate employees in offering their religious obligation “Qurbani”.

Eid-ul-Adha is somewhat different from Eid-ul-fitar and requires more time and money before the actual event. People need to go out searching an animal for “Qurbani” and obviously money to finally purchase the animal.

That is why Government has issued the notice of four holidays one day before the actual Eid day, and now the government has announced to pay salaries on 28th which is quite handy for the employees.

More interestingly, Careem company has started Bakra on the Wheels offer for its customers for selected cities of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. People who do not have much time can use the service which will bring an assortment of bakras to their home to select one for them.
