Here You Got The Details About Apple iPad 9

In September, Apple presented the ninth generation of the iPad. The Apple A13 SoC, which is used for the first time in the “normal” iPad, is new here. Otherwise, there are only a few really big changes compared to the predecessor.

Design and Specifications

With the iPad 9, Apple relies on the proven design of its predecessor. It is 7.5 millimeters thin and weighs 487 grams. The housing is made entirely of aluminum. Especially the edge above and below the display (when you hold the tablet upright) are quite thick. A fingerprint scanner is integrated into the home button, but Apple Face ID is not supported. There is also a Lightning connector and a classic headphone connector – these are two special features because this makes the iPad 9 the only current Apple tablet that still has these two connectors.

The 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera on the front, which supports Center Stage, is new compared to its predecessor. With this function, the camera automatically follows the user’s face, for example during videotelephony.

The display is good enough but not laminated

On the other hand, there is no change in the display. This is still 10.2 inches in size and has a resolution of 2160 x 1620 pixels. It’s a shame that Apple doesn’t offer a laminated display here – users who want to write or draw with the Apple Pencil could be bothered by this, as there is always a visible gap between the pen and digital ink.

In the Apple iPad 9, the Apple A13 Bionic works with 3 GB of RAM. In direct comparison, the tablet is faster than its two predecessors and even faster than any currently available Android tablet. Only the current iPad Air and iPad Pro have to admit defeat. There is also a small change in the memory configuration, as buyers can choose between 64 and 256 GB of internal memory this time. Models with LTE are also available.
