HMD introduces Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 at MWC Barcelona

HMD Global has featured several new smartphones in the affordable C series. The new devices were announced during the MWC Barcelona event. Reportedly, the company has introduced Nokia C22 and Nokia C32. HMD Global claims that the two new smartphones will feature a battery life of three days. With the two new smartphones, the company has used the low-end/mid-range formula of low specs and big batteries. Reportedly, the two devices are available for sale.

Nokia C22

Reportedly, the smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display and 2.5D glass. Due to this, the smartphone is slightly curved. Nokia C32 has the same display. Both smartphones use 5,000mAh batteries and 100W charging. Although, the charging capacity appears quite slow. But it is worth it in such a price range.

Furthermore, the device is provided with 2GB of RAM or 3GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage. It uses the Unisoc SC9863A processor [a 28nm processor]. Besides this, it has an IP52 rating for dust and water spray detection. The Nokia C22 is presented in two color options i.e., Midnight Black and Sand. It is priced at €109 (~$115 USD).

Nokia C32

Given the display, both smartphones are similar. they are fueled with the same processor and with a similar 50-megapixel sensor. However, the C32 is an upgraded version with offerings of t3GB or 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage onboard. The storage is expandable with a microSD card.

HMD Global claims that the devices will receive two years of quarterly security updates. It is quite a good approach. However, companies like Samsung and Google now offer the update for a span of three or more years. Besides this, everything offered with the smartphone is rightly justified by the price. Nokia C32 comes in three colors i.e., Charcoal, Autumn Green, and Beach Pink. It has a starting price of €129 (~$136 USD).
