While the Honor 50 series is selling like hotcakes in China, the rest of the world is awaiting its arrival. But it seems it isn’t going to be too long for the company to release the series for the rest of the world. We expect the company to release the series soon in Europe.
As a matter of fact, the company is releasing the Honor 50 lineup in Europe on October 26th. The basic variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage will cost €499. While the high-end variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal Storage will cost €599. These are the prices for the basic model – the Honor 50. We didn’t hear about the Honor 50 Pro, so can’t say if the company would release it in Europe or not.
The Honor 50 is a mid-range smartphone, featuring a 6.57-inch OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The front camera sits in the punch hole and is a powerful 32MP camera. On the rear, we have a quad-camera setup with a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide snapper, a 2 MP macro module, and a 2 MP depth lens.
This Honor smartphone will generate its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC (which is paired with either 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage or an 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage). The device will come with Android 11 and Magic UI. We hope it gets the Android 12 update soon. The device will also feature a 4,300 mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
The Honor 50 has an in-screen fingerprint scanner and will be available in a variety of color options.
