HONOR introduces the HONOR 90 series in China

HONOR has unveiled the HONOR 90 series in China. The new series consists of two members notably the HONOR 90 and HONOR 90 Pro. The new series is expected to make its international debut soon. The company has unveiled this information via a press release. However, there is no information on when the smartphones will be revealed.

Coming towards the HONOR 90 and HONOR 90 Pro, the two smartphones are quite similar. However, they are different on the basis of their rear camera island. In this short piece, we will uncover some of eh specs of both smartphones.  

Feature specifications of HONOR 90 Pro

The display of HONOR 90 Pro is a 6.78-inch 2700 x 1224 OLED display. It offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has the capacity to project one billion colors. The device holds a curved panel on all sides. It also features a 3840Hz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Dimming technology.

The smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset. It offers 12GB and 16GB RAM options. Furthermore, the 12GB model is offered with 256GB of storage only, whereas the 16GB RAM variant is offered with 256GB and 512GB storage. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It supports 100W wired charging. Other connectivity features of HONOR 90 Pro include the support for two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM), 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device comes pre-installed with Android 13 and MagicOS 7.1.

The camera island of HONOR 90 Pro consists of a 200MP primary camera, a 32MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. the ultrawide camera doubles as a macro camera. a 50MP selfie camera can be found on the front. A 2MP depth-of-field lens can also be found here. The device measures 163.8 x 74.8 x 8.1mm and weighs around 192g. It is offered in four different colors i.e., Bright Black, Ice Feather Blue, Mo Yuqing, and Star Diamond Silver

Feature specifications of HONOR 90

The display of HONOR 90 is a 6.7-inch 2664 x 1200 OLED display. Similar to the HONOR 90 Pro, the panel is curved on all sides, and it can also project 1 billion colors. Furthermore, it also includes a 3840Hz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Dimming technology.

The HONOR 90 is fueled by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. It is also offered in 12GB and 16GN RAM variants. It is offered the same storage options as the HONRO 90 Pro.  HONOR 90 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging. The device has support for 5G connectivity as well as Bluetooth 5.2. the device comes pre-installed with Android 13 and MagicOS 71. It also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The camera island of the HONOR 90 consist of a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth-of-field lens. On the front, a 50MP portrait camera is provided. The smartphone weighs 183g and measures 161.9 x 74.1 x 7.8mm. It is offered in four different colors i.e., Bright Black, Ice Feather Blue, Mo Yuqing, and Star Diamond Silver in China.

As of now, there are no details about the price of the two smartphones.
