HONOR Magic6 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 was recently unveiled by Qualcomm. Notably, the new flagship SoC features several improvements as compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It was clear during the announcement that several companies would use the new SoC in their devices. Well, we have received one confirmation from HONOR. The company confirmed that the upcoming HONOR Magic6 flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

In addition to the details about the processor of the upcoming flagship, the company shared that the smartphone will feature a “cutting-edge” 7B model on-device large language model (LLM). The main idea behind this tech is to provide individual personalized services. With this confirmation, we can expect several other advanced options on the device. All it will take to make a short, personal video is to “give a command prompt to the on-device voice assistant.” The resulting videos’ themes, templates, and soundtracks can be customized with further prompts.

The company demonstrated ‘Magic Capsule’ in Hawaii

There is another thing that will grab the user’s attention. The company revealed the ‘Magic Capsule.’ It is basically an eye-tracking-based multimodal interaction. Furthermore, the company showed three main features of MagicRing, which comprise connected input, a connected camera, and multi-device screen sharing. It will work with the help of the Snapdragon Seamless technology, which enables convenient data transfer between devices.

There are no details about the specs of the Magic6 but it will include some high-end features. we can also anticipate some modifications in the camera setup of the upcoming HONOR Magic6. The new series is expected to debut in February next year during the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona. Well, it is only a guess based on the past history.
