Honor’s CEO says it will build a better system than Apple’s iOS
Recently, Honor held an event at its R&D center located in Shenzhen. As per the reports, some interesting claims have been made during the event by the company’s CEO. The CEO states that he has some elaborate plans to take over Apple’s iOS. In addition to this, the CEO shared that the R&D expenses of the company for the year 2022 were estimated t be around 10% of the total revenue. He pointed out that this is one of the major reasons for being so confident about the future of MagicOS.
According to Honor’s CEO, Zhao Ming, the smartphones by Apple come with inferior hardware and an outdated design. According to him, these smartphones have poor battery life in contrast to the Android smartphones like the Magic5 series. Besides these issues, users are attracted to Apple because of its iOS ecosystem, stated Ming.
Well, it appears that the company is all set to introduce a robust ecosystem with greater efficiency and performance. Besides the smartphone, when it comes to the iOS ecosystem, it is fluent, trustworthy, and powerful in its skin. Given this perspective, Honor aims to compete with Apple with its upcoming MagicOS reiterations in the near future. In addition to this, the company intends to introduce an ecosystem that has the capacity to compete with Apple as well as its ex-partner’s (Huawei) HarmonyOS.
