How to factory reset the Amazon Echo Dot

How to factory reset your Amazon Echo Dot

There are two different methods to factory reset your Amazon Echo Dot. On the one hand, you can via the Alexa app installed on your mobile phone or tablet. Secondly, through the physical buttons themselves that has the smart speaker.

With the Alexa app

The first thing you need to do to set up your Echo Dot is open the Alexa app on your mobile. This will allow you to control which devices are paired with the smart speaker, change its language and, among other options, also proceed to factory reset.
