How to use Google Meet for Free

Google in competition with rival video chat service Zoom, launched its own video chatting space. Google Hangouts and Duo were available previously but they were just for casual video chatting. Google Meet allows 100 participants on a call at once. It includes features like scheduling, screen sharing, and real-time captioning.

In order to use the free version of Google Meet users needs to create a free Google account. Google has introduced default privacy protections which include host controls, complex meeting codes, and encryption in transit.

Google Meet will launch its free version by early May as per Google. Users can use the chat service on the web at meet.google.com and on mobile apps for iOS or Android. 

In order to use the Google Meet free version visit the Google Meet page. Fill your name, email, country, and primary use for Google Meet. Agree to the terms and conditions of Google and then submit. When the service will be ready to use, you will receive a notification.

Once you are on Google Meet, you can use the free version by going to meet.google.com. Click on start new meeting or you can enter the meeting code. Choose the Google account you wish to use. Join the meeting. You can also add others to join your meeting.
