Huawei Ban begins in the European Markets
Huawei is one of the leading smartphone makers in the world but recently doors are being closed for the company around the world. Huawei has come under immense pressure in the two important European markets. Orange is a telecommunication firm that has excluded Huawei products in its main 5Gnetwork in France. Similarly Deutsche Telekom, the German company is also reviewing the Huawei equipment purchases.

In the United States and other countries Huawei is facing immense scrutiny. Officials are given warning that Huawei phones are a threatto the national security thus they must be banned.
Further on recently the chief financial officer, Meng Wanzhou was recently arrested in Canada that has further raised eyebrows. Shewas released on bail but now investigations have started.
Orange CEO Stephane Richard said, “We don’t foresee calling on Huawei for5G. We are working with our traditional partners they are Ericsson and Nokia.”
Deutsche Telekom (DTEGY) said, “We are pursuing a multi-vendor strategy for the network elements used (manufacturers primarily Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco, Huawei). Nevertheless we currently reevaluate our procurement strategy.”
Huawei has not responded to a request for comment. However, reportedly SoftBank is also thinking to drop the Huawei equipment. In the US market, Huawei is also almost shutdown as the government officials feel that itis spying on them on the directives of the Chinese government.
