Huawei Launches Nova 7 Series With 64 MP Quad-Camera and 5G Support

Huawei released its Nova 7 smartphone series. The series contains three mobile phones-Nova 7, Nova 7 Pro, and Nova 7 SE. All three versions have 5 G connectivity and come with rear 64MP quad cameras. They also carry 4,000mAh batteries with 40W Fast Charging Support.

The Nova 7 Pro 5 G is equipped with a curved 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout housing a main 32MP and secondary selfie camera 8MP. There is a Kirin 985 chipset under the hood, coupled with 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of ram. A quad-camera array with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, an 8MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom, as well as a dedicated 2MP macro camera is placed at the back of the handset. It is expected to go on sale in black, green, purple, gold, and silver colors in China from April 28. Nova 7 Pro’s base 8GB/128 GB version will be retailing for 3,699 yuan ($522), while the 256 GB version will cost 4,099 yuan ($580).

Huawei Nova 7 has a slightly smaller FHD+ AMOLED 6.53-inch display with a single hole-punch cutout that houses a 32MP selfie camera. As with the Pro edition, the phone is powered by a Kirin 985 chipset. In camera department it is identical to the Nova 7 Pro, though its 8MP telephoto lens only supports 3x optical zoom and 5x hybrid zoom. The Nova 7 will be available in black, red, silver, purple, and green colors in China starting April 28. Huawei has priced the phone’s 128 GB version at $2.999 yuan ($425), while the 256 GB variant goes for $3.399 yuan ($480).

The Nova 7 family’s most economical member is The Nova 7 SE. It features a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS monitor for the 16MP selfie camera, with a hole-punch cutout. The Nova 7 SE runs under the hood on a Kirin 820 5 G chipset, combined with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of ram. A quad-camera setup with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle photographer, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor is located at the rear. The Nova 7 SE was priced for the 128 GB version at 2,399 yuan ($340) and for the 256 GB version, at 2,799 yuan ($395). The Nova 7 SE, like the Nova 7 and 7 Pro, will go on sale in China starting on April 28. Huawei has not confirmed plans to introduce the Nova 7 series phones in markets outside China.
