Huawei Mate 20 Pro Users Encounter Display Issues
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has launched just recently in the market and it has received a tremendous amount of praise. However, many users are reporting display issues in the phone. The users claim that the phone faces a light bleed issue on the edges and a green hue on the sides of the screen.
Initially, a few people complained about this but the number is increasing. In low light, the greenish yellow spots become visible with a greyish or white background.
Now there are different reasons that might have caused this, as speculated by the people. Some feel that the cause of this is LG’s faulty OLED panels while others feel it might be due to the glue used by Huawei in the Mate 20 Pro. Huawei company has not officially given a statement so the reason remains unclear.

But Huawei’s UK Community Forum Manager did say, “The Mate 20 Pro uses an industry-leading flexible OLED screen featuring special design curved edges for an enhanced visual experience and holding comfort. This may lead to slight discoloration when viewed from different angles. In extremely dim lighting conditions, when the screen brightness is too low, or when using dark wallpapers, these differences can be exaggerated. If the color cast affects your normal use, take your phone to an authorized Customer Service Center for assistance.”
