Huawei has recently opened its 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) center in Australia in order to keep expanding in regions other than China.
Chinese technology has been spreading its wings over the past decade and the current pace of penetration has never been so fast. Chinese tech giant Huawei has made several attempts to enter the U.S. and Europe but the company faced many restrictions from the authorities while countries like Australia have accepted it with open arms.
According to the recent reports, Huawei has launched its first ever Customer Solutions and Innovation Center (CSIC) in Sydney Australia. The tech giant will showcase its 5G technology and Internet of Things (IoT) technology for customers, businesses, industry, and the government.
Huawei pay introduces touch payment
Huawei’s Australia Chairman, John Lord recognized the efforts of Huawei to open a center in Australia and how the company is committed to innovation and R&D in Australia.
The Chairman said during the opening ceremony of CSIC today,
“We want to help Australia in its drive towards the digital economy, and we firmly believe that CSIC would be the key part of our partners, customers and ICT industry as a whole.”
CTO of Huawei Australia, Dr. David Soldani said, the new center CSIC will help designing, developing and testing 5G and IoT solutions, it will further drive an open industry ecosystem and accelerate the country’s drive to transform into a digital economy.
