Huawei punishes its employees for sending Tweet from iPhone
A Chinese Telecommunications equipment company, Huawei Technologies has punished its two employees after they sent the New Year greetings on the company’s official Twitter account using an iPhone.
Huawei, the company who has launched the P-series smartphones to compete with iPhones, wished its Twitter followers on the New Year’s Day with a tweet contains “Happy #2019” marked sent via “Twitter for iPhone”.

The tweet was quickly removed, however, the screenshots of that blunder made by the company’s employees spread across social media websites.
A user leaves a comment saying “The traitor has revealed himself” on microblog Weibo which received more than 600 likes.
After that blunder, the company said that the mistake occurred when its outsourced social media handler was experiencing VPN problem with the desktop computer, so had decided to use an iPhone with a roaming SIM card to send a tweet on time at midnight.
