Huawei To Rollout Global Beta Of EMUI 10.1 Soon

An update of the Huawei Beta app indicates that the Chinese manufacturer should start the global test phase of the new EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 in a timely manner. The exact schedule for Germany is still pending, but the update is already being distributed in Asia.

The next major Android update for Huawei smartphones has been under discussion with the EMUI 10.1 for almost two months . At the beginning of April, the group announced the distribution for more than 35 models of the Huawei and Honor brands in Asia. Now colleagues from Huawei Central are reporting on a newly released version of the Huawei Beta app, which could usher in a global test phase of the update. Appropriate APKs of the software are already available for smartphones with EMUI 9.1 and EMUI 10.0

The starting signal for the global rollout of the EMUI 10.1 beta has not yet been officially announced and a suitable schedule for the download in various countries is not yet known. However, it is quite conceivable that Huawei will explicitly comment on this in the coming weeks about the countries. While the Huawei P40 family has already been equipped with the new user interface based on Google Android 10, the high-end smartphones Huawei P30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro could be among the first devices to receive the EMUI 10.1 update. However, as usual, participation in the global beta should be limited to only a few users.
