Apple is going to halt the production and distribution of the iMac Pro. The company would stop selling the device once the current stock is out.
Apple’s iMac Pro was first introduced back in December 2017, and Matthew called this space-gray system a “love letter to developers”.
Since then, iMac has traveled a long way and is still popular among the masses. However, the time is soon to end the old version to introduce a newer model with high specs.
Replacing the iMac Pro, the Apple silicon-powered iMacs is expecting to be on the way, revamping its predecessors, the MacBook, MacBook Air, and Mac Mini, with its exclusive chips.
The new version of Apple’s Mac is expected to arrive later this year with two variants of 21.5″ and 27″ with a boot redesign.
According to TechCrunch, users may still have time to buy the soon-to-be-outdated iMac Pro Apple’s site, listed as “While Supplies Last,” and priced at $5,000. Some third-party retailers may also have versions of the device in stock.
