In Canada and the United States, the Galaxy Tab S9 receives a stable Android 14 with One UI 6 upgrade

The stable Android 14 upgrade for the Galaxy Tab S9 series was made available by Samsung last week in Europe. Currently, the update is spreading throughout North America, with the US and Canada receiving the latest software for Galaxy Tab S9 devices. In the coming days, the feature-rich version may be released to other nations.

Canada and the USA receive the Android 14 update for the Galaxy Tab S9

In Canada and the US (C Spire network), the stable Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update for the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is now available. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 come with firmware versions X910XXU1BWK6, X810XXU1BWK6, and X710XXU1BWK6, respectively. The upgrade includes the November 2023 security update in addition to One UI 6.0.

You may check for the latest update on a Galaxy Tab S9 series tablet in the US by opening the Settings app, going to Software Update, then selecting Download and Install. Alternatively, you can manually flash the latest released firmware file by downloading it from our firmware database.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series will get some new features with Android 14. Among those additions are an entirely new set of emojis, a redesigned Quick Panel, modified notifications, a new media player widget with waveform animations, and a new font. Additionally, it enhances every stock app, including the Camera app.
