Instagram may allow users to post via their desktops and laptops
Instagram is reportedly working on a new feature where it would allow users to share posts using their desktops or laptops.
Good news is soon coming for Instagram users – you could be allowed to release your posts via your laptop or desktop devices. Tipster Alessandro Paluzzi rolled out the news via a tweet. He informed that Instagram is working on a new feature allowing users to post on Instagram accounts using their desktops and laptops.
I do have an Instagram account, but I am not an active user. I even didn’t know that we were unable to post via our laptops or desktops till now. The feature is not very attractive for me. But it would be for the fans.
Coming back to the topic, the leak suggested that the company is working on this feature and is testing it internally. Paluzzi also shared some images of this upcoming feature in his tweet.
To post, there would be a ‘+’ button (just like the one we have on our mobile devices. Click it to move to a new window, drag and drop or browse an image or video from your system, edit it (if required), compose your message, and share it with your network.
We don’t have any rollout date, but since it is in the testing process, we expect that this feature might start rolling out soon to the masses in phases before it reaches every Instagram account.
