A few days ago and before the announcement of Zuckerberg’s plans, this caused Instagram users started a small revolution. Because a few days ago it became known that the Instagram network, which specializes in photos, plans to approach TikTok more and more.

Protests against testing a new layout

More specifically, a user interface called “Fullscreen Feed Layout” appeared for some users. This is essentially a copy of TikTok. No wonder: Meta has long envied the downright astronomical growth of his competitor, which is especially popular with young people.

But these plans were and are far from well received by Instagram users. And they got celebrity support, too: As the social media power of the Kardashian/Jenner clan lamented the change, and when Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian spoke out, legions of fans followed. As a result, Adam Mosseri responded in a video, stressing that the full-screen feed layout was just a test: “We’re experimenting with some changes to the app, so we’re hearing a lot of concerns from you,” Instagram said – boss.

And we need to get it in working order if we want to take it to the rest of the Instagram community.” However, recent statements from Mark Zuckerberg suggest that a TikTok-Esque look will come sooner or later.
