Have you recently upgraded to 14.6 and not happy with the upgrade? Apple yesterday, quietly closed the verification channel of iOS 14.5.1. The update was pushed early last month, mainly bringing critical security fixes, and it also solved the performance degradation of some iPhone models. Turning off verification on iOS 14.5.1 means that users who have already upgraded to iOS 14.6 or iOS 14.7 Beta will not be able to downgrade to this version.
This may be somewhat worse for some users because iOS 14.6 do not fulfill a complete flawless system as yet, whether from the media or the general evaluation by consumer feedback, Apple’s support forums, it seems that life is not easy with iOS 14.6 because so many users mentioned that version has not optimized the problems lurking around forever.
The Apple WWDC conference will be held on June 7 anyway. If no surprises, the iOS 15 software will be launched. This means that iOS 14 will soon become a thing of the past. And it is likely to become an old-age care system for iPhone SE/6S and other models because Apple is not pushing update to iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, and 6S Plus.
