iQOO is Releasing the iQOO Z5x on October 20th in China
iQOO is all geared up to release the iQOO Z5x in China on October 20th.
iQOO has officially announced the release of the iQOO Z5x on October 20 in China. The announcement came out via the company’s official Weibo account. Earlier, the company rolled out the same device on several websites, such as Google Play Console, 3C, Geekbench, and TENAA, to get the mandatory certifications. After receiving the required scores and certifications, the company is finally ready to release the device this month in its homeland.
Though the company couldn’t say much about the iQOO Z5x before its official release, we have a good understanding of the device via the certification websites. According to the TENAA certification, this iQOO smartphone, which will have model number V2131A, will feature a 6.58-inch TFT display.
Then via the Geekbench listing site, we learned that this smartphone will feature MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SoC. According to the 3C certification site, this device will have 44W fast charging support.
We also received several tips regarding this handset. According to that information, the upcoming iQOO smartphone will have up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will run Android 11 out of the box.
Camera-wise, this smartphone will come out with a dual-camera setup on the rear with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Although some images on the web are showing a triple-camera setup, we didn’t receive any such tip from our sources. The front one will be an 8MP camera.
The device will have dimensions of 163.95×75.30×8.5 mm and will weigh 169 grams. The tip further suggested that this device will generate its power from a 4,880mAh battery.
That’s a lot of information about the smartphone before the company could officially release it. For the rest of it, we have to wait just for a few days, i.e. till its release date and then we will know all about this smartphone, including the available colors and price range.
