iQOO, the ex-sub brand of Vivo, is now planning to launch the iQOO Z5 in China. The company will announce this smartphone via a launch event to be held on September 23rd (the next Thursday) at 2:30 PM local time.
The company has yet to share the device’s price and its availability. But we heard from a reliable source that this smartphone will come to India by the end of the current month.
Although iQOO is a newer brand compared to the ones capturing the smartphone market share, it’s a good sign that the company will release the device in global markets (currently we are certain that the device would come to India) soon after its initial release in its homeland.
Previously, iQOO took two months to release the iQOO Z3 in the global market.
According to the source, the iQOO Z5 will come for INR30,000 ($410/€345) in India. It could be the “segment’s best performance and gaming device.”
As of now, we know a little about this device. According to the information we grabbed, this smartphone will come with a 5,000mAh battery, offering “96 hours of music playback, 18.3 hours of video playback, and 10.4 hours of gaming.”
We also learned that this smartphone will feature Snapdragon 778G SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, 120Hz punch-hole display, stereo speakers, and Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless support.
