It is rumored that Samsung’s E7 AMOLED panel will be featured in the upcoming Vivo smartphones

We have all the information about the specs and features of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, thanks to leaks. Most of the details come from the tipster Digital Chat Station. As of now, the tipster has shared some fresh details about the display panel of the Vivo X Fold 3 and the Vivo X100 Ultra. According to him, the smartphones will feature Samsung’s 2K E7 AMOLED panel. Notably, the first handset to use Samsung’s 2K E7 panel was the iQOO 12 Pro, which is also an offering of Vivo.

The E7 AMOLED panel consumes less power

In order to understand things more clearly, let us take the example of the iQOO 12 Pro. The phone features a 6.78-inch 3200×1440 OLED hyperbolic screen. It offers 1600 nits of global peak brightness and 3000 nits of local peak brightness. Some other features supported by this display include the support for 10-bit color depth, LTPO adaptive refresh rate, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. All these factors contribute to vibrant visuals and smooth performance.

As far as the Vivo X Fold 3 series are concerned, the devices have received 3C certification in China. Reportedly, the base model will feature support for 80W charging power however, the Pro version will offer 120W charging capability. The reports suggests that the Vivo X Fold 3 series will arrive by the end of this month.

When it comes to specs, the base version is reported to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset whereas the Pro version will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Both models are rumored to have improved screen resolutions, incredibly huge batteries, and sophisticated camera systems, which include a 50MP ultra-large primary camera and a special periscope telephoto lens.

There are no details regarding the launch of the Vivo X100 Ultra. However, some reports indicate that the smartphone will feature the Samsung E7 panel and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. According to reports, prototypes have glass bodies and two-way satellites communications, suggesting that they may have more sophisticated networking.
