It’s All About Xiaomi Today – The Mi Mix 4 Reached 400,000 Units in Pre-order While the Company Also Announced the Mi Pad 5
Pre-order for Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 reached 400,000 units. the company also announced the new Mi Pad 5.
Xiaomi has already announced the Mi Mix 4 today in China. The device is expected to reach the shelves later during the month. And now we learned that the device’s pre-order has now reached close to 400,000.
Assuming from this big order umber, we believe the device to stay popular for the whole year. The Mi Mix 4 is the company’s first under-display unit. The same smartphone is also the company’s first device to get powered by the Snapdragon 888+.

Besides this smartphone, Xiaomi also announced the Mi Pad 5 series in China. The Mi Pad 5 consists of two devices – the standard variant and the Pro model. Here is a quick overview of the Mi Pad 5 series:
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Specifications
The base variant will come in two storage configurations (1) 6GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage for CNY 1999, (2) 6GB + 256GB fo CNY 2,299. This variant is likely to come in Black, White, and Green color options.
The higer-end model will be available in three storage configurations – (1) 6GB + 128GB for CNY 2,499, (2) 6GB + 256GB for CNY 2,799, and (3) 8GB + 256GB (5G) for CNY 3,499. This model will be available in Black and White color options.
Both models will feature an 11-inch LCD with a 2560×1600 screen resolution, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, True Tone, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and a 500 nits brightness.
Both models also have a dual-camera setup on the back. The base model will have a 13MP primary camera clubbed with an 8MP secondary sensor. While, the Pro (5G) will have a 50MP primary camera, clubbed with a 13MP secondary sensor.
Under the hood of the standard model, we expect to see a Snapdragon 860 chipset, whereas the Pro model will feature the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The base model will have an 8720 mAh battery, while the Pro model will have an 8,600 mAh battery.
