Japanese scientists are moving ahead in technology by planning to put a man on Moon by 2030. Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has claimed for the first time that their aim is to put an astronaut past the International Space Station.
The plan is to first become part of NASA-led mission in 2025 through which a space station would be built in moon’s orbit. It is anticipated by Tokyo that offering their technology in the multinational mission would help them send an astronaut to the moon by 2030.
To an education ministry panel this plan has been presented while a more detailed blueprint would be presented by next year.
As China and India establish their space programmes, Japan has also come up with this announcement.
It was in November last year that China’s Shenzhou-11 spacecraft returned to Earth. Now Beijing has revealed plan for a Mars probe and the city also has plans to explore the Red Planet. Moreover NASA has plans to send astronauts to Mars till 2030.
