Jason Blundell: Call of Duty co-head departs Treyarch

It’s the end of a journey in case you’re a Call of Duty fan. Jason Blundell, the co-head of series studio Treyarch, has left the organization following 13 years. The news is somewhat shocking because there are rumours of a new call of duty being worked upon for release. There wasn’t any explanation given for the departure, yet the tone on the two sides recommends he wasn’t kicked out. He portrayed his time as a “fantastic” stint, while the engineer said he “enjoyed” the time together. It’s something gamers will see, in any event.

Blundell began the arrangement as a producer for Call of Duty 3, however, he’s most popular for dealing with its long-running zombies’ mode. He headed up both the undead mode and the fundamental story for Black Ops 3 and concentrated on zombies for Black Ops 4. There’s little uncertainty that he assumed a compelling role in the Call of Duty arrangement when he played his co-head job in 2016.

His departure comes at a not exactly perfect time for the first-person shooter establishment. Treyarch is accepted to be chipping away at Black Ops 5 during the current year following a disturbance at Raven and Sledgehammer, who was allegedly set to discharge a Call of Duty game this year yet were downgraded to help obligations after competitions and takeoffs caused tumult. Assuming this is the case, Blundell’s flight will toss more vulnerability in with the general mish-mash.

While Treyarch may, in any case, be in acceptable hands, it presumably would not like to lose leadership at a minute like this. At the moment we do not know what it means for the future of the Treyarch studio or how good the new call of duty will be without former leadership and its vision.
