A new one Analysis of Verivox Shows: Germany records the highest internet prices for inpatient broadband internet within the EU in a European comparison. While users only pay a few cents per megabit (Mbit) in many EU countries for fast internet connections, the price in Germany is one euro per Mbit-a top value within the European Union.

• Price gradient within the EU: In Romania, an Mbit only costs 1 cents, 3 cents in Poland and Slovakia. A total of 13 countries, including Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, are below 10 cents per Mbit. The EU average price is 18 cents per Mbit.
