Koffee with Karan New Season Expected to be On Air this Year

Karan Johar—the Indian filmmaker is soon to return on the silver screen with another season of his most famous talk show Koffee with Karan.

As per the Indian media, it was in rumours initially that the show would not be aired until the next year. But, the talk show is to make a comeback this year in September with the newly wedded couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma as the first guests.

Currently, the Indian filmmaker is busy in judging India’s Next Superstars that would be winding up on the 8th of April.  The Indian media reported that Karan Johar was a part of the musical show—Dil Hai Hindustani last year, however, he took a break from it and said that he wants to concentrate on his next managerial project for which he needs a four months break from the television. As per a source close to the Indian filmmaker he would be returning back with the sixth season of his most controversial talk show.

Koffee with Karan has a history of featuring conversations which usually becomes the source of controversies, recently the one controversy that was in a lot of news was regarding nepotism.

The controversy initiated when the famous Bollywood actress—Kangana Ranaut accused KJo and called him the “flag-bearer of nepotism” in one of the episodes of Koffee with Karan in which she was invited with Saif Ali Khan.

The comments made by the leading actress started a debate on nepotism in the Bollywood industry.

Anyway, it is good news for the Koffee with Karan show fans as they would soon have a chance to see their favourite show on air.
