Latest CAD leak revealed capture button on iPhone 16 Pro

Some images purporting to show the iPhone 16 Pro support dubious rumors of a Capture button, but they also hint at an enlargement of the current Action button. Four sketches that allegedly depict the iPhone 16 Pro have surfaced after leaks about the upcoming iPhone SE 4 and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The drawings, which were made public by 91mobiles on Friday, purport to originate from anonymous industry sources and depict a little larger chassis than the one found on the iPhone 15 Pro.

According to the newspaper, it has also been provided with the phone’s dimensions separately. It measures 149.6 mm in height, 71.4 mm in width, and 8.4 mm in depth. If accurate, the iPhone 16 Pro will be 3 mm taller, 0.8 mm taller, and 0.15 mm thicker than the model it replaced. It is anticipated by Friday’s rumor that the screen would be 6.3 inches, with a bigger chassis and slimmer bezels.

The CAD designs that were leaked seem to confirm earlier rumors that Apple is introducing a Capture button. Additionally, they refute some earlier speculations regarding the Action button and speculate that it might actually get a little bigger. This leak entirely refutes other previous speculations that, while discredited, said the back cameras will be modified to resemble fidget spinners. The notion that Apple will continue to use the present camera configuration is supported by the latest CAD leaks.

They look real, as is always the case with renders, but it’s unclear whence the imagery originated. Renders typically originate from accessory manufacturers, like cases, and may rely as much on conjecture as on reliable information from Apple.
