Latest leak of Galaxy A25 revealed a lot of information

This week, more information regarding Samsung’s 2024 Galaxy A smartphones is starting to surface online. More specifically, information previously known about one gadget is resurfacing in a fresh disclosure. The full Galaxy A25 spec sheet and renders featuring the smartphone in some of the rumored colors have been released by the folks at MySmartPrice, filling in some of the gaps left by earlier leaks.

According to reports, the Galaxy A25 will have a 6.5-inch 90Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display rather than a 90Hz display. Additionally, the Exynos 1280, which will be combined with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage, will replace the MediaTek chip found in the A24. 5G internet access will be available as a standard.

There will be a 13MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls, and a 50MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro sensor at the back of the device. Additionally, stereo speakers have been added to the Galaxy A25 by Samsung, making it the first smartphone in the A2x series to do so.

The Galaxy A25, like most modern Galaxy phones in the midrange, will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Like the Galaxy A24, it will come pre-installed with One UI 6 and Android 14, and it will be eligible for five years of security updates in addition to four major OS upgrades.

The Galaxy A25’s design will resemble that of the Galaxy A24 as well; however, it will feature a textured pattern on the rear that not everyone will find appealing. Regarding the color possibilities, there is some confusion: while it is believed that the A25 will come in yellow, the renders indicate a lime green color like that of the Galaxy A24.

When the Galaxy A25 will launch is unknown. The Galaxy A24 went on sale in May of this year, but given the ongoing leaks and the recent addition of a support page for the device to Samsung’s website, it’s feasible that the A25 may hit store shelves before its predecessor has had a full year to see out its life.
