Leak: iPhone 13 64GB Model Dropped While iPhone 13 Pro Will Have 1TB Storage

The new iPhone generation is to be presented on Tuesday and therefore in a few days. Shortly before the launch, more details about the iPhone 13 were leaked. While the 64 GB version is said to have been deleted, the Pro model will probably be available with 1 TB of storage.

As 9to5mac writes, the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently published an investor report with expectations for the upcoming Apple products. According to him, the iPhone 13 and the mini version are offered with 128, 256, and 512 gigabytes of memory. This means that Apple has canceled the 64-gigabyte version and no longer offers it. The iPhone 12 (Mini) could still be purchased with 64 gigabytes of memory. With the Pro and Pro Max models, the 64-gigabyte option was no longer available with the iPhone 12.

iPhone 13 Pro & Pro Max To come with 1 TB storage

The Pro and Pro Max versions of the iPhone 13 should be available in a configuration with one terabyte of memory. This makes the two devices the first iPhones to break the terabyte mark. What surcharge Apple will charge for the additional capacity is still unclear and should be announced the day after tomorrow.

In addition, Ming-Chi Kuo warns that the iPhone 13 could be affected by supply chain bottlenecks. Some components cannot currently be produced in sufficient numbers. The effects should be limited so that the smartphones should be delivered as planned.

The Apple event takes place on September 14th and is expected to start at 7 p.m according to Central European Summer Time. The virtual event will be broadcast from Apple Park. The live stream can be followed on the manufacturer’s website. In addition to the future iPhone generation, Apple could also introduce the Watch 7 the day after tomorrow.
