Apple will debut its iPhone 16 series this year. According to the company’s history, the new series is expected to arrive in September 2024. In other words, the launch of the new series is still months away; however, we are getting more and more details about the upcoming series with every passing day. Recently, a new report regarding the details of the iPhone 16 Pro series emerged. The report uncovers details about the build and camera specs of the device.
According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the Pro models of the iPhone 16 series will feature a 1/1.14-inch main camera and a periscope telephoto lens. The tipster revealed on Weibo that, as compared to the previous models, the periscope telescope lens of the iPhone 16 Pro will feature improved zoom capabilities. However, the 1/1.14-inch main camera will improve light intake on the main sensor.
In addition to this, the tipster shared more details about the rear panels of the Pro models. According to the tipster, a glass panel that is built using a G+P solution will be used for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. In simple words, the rear is made using a combination of glass and plastic. The tipster reveals that Huawei might adopt a similar strategy for its upcoming smartphones.
Besides this, some previous reports suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro series will feature a new dedicated Capture button. Furthermore, the Pro members will feature several other upgrades, like a small Dynamic Island on the front, bigger displays, and updated cameras. Well, this is all that we know so far.
